Modern Ikebana | Friday, January 31st | 5-7:30

Learn the art of Japanese floral design as we focus on the seasons finest with our own Kyoko Hasegawa. Kyoko is formally trained in Ikebana and brings a decade worth of experience to the class.During this 2.5 hr class attendees will learn Ikebana history, theory & design mechanics, while sipping a flight of locally brewed Sake!

In this class we will be using a selection of forced winter bulb flowers and hot house garden roses. Kyoko will teach you the basics of Ikebana design, and then show you how to create a more modern design using ikebana principles.
